A MAU is any unique device that checks for updates at least once in a calendar month. Devices that do not check for updates during that month are not counted toward your limit.

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When upgrading, the new plan takes effect immediately and you will be prorated. When downgrading, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Apps, channels, and team members are unlimited on every plan, so there is nothing to exceed there. Storage is a hard cap: an upload is refused the moment it would cross the number. Monthly active users and bandwidth allow a 10% grace above the limit before anything is refused — past that grace, new deployments are refused and updates stop being delivered to your devices until the usage period rolls over to the next calendar month or you move to a plan with more room. Update delivery also stops if the organization has no active plan at all, such as after a trial ends or a payment fails. Nothing is ever deleted for going over a limit, and everything resumes as soon as you are back inside your plan. Your usage is shown at all times on the usage dashboard.

Enterprise is priced to the usage it actually carries, so it starts at $199/month rather than costing a fixed amount. The figures on the Enterprise card are the point a conversation starts from — tell us your monthly active users, bandwidth, and any contractual requirements, and we will quote against them. Every other plan is self-serve and needs no conversation at all.

No. Apps, update channels, and team members are unlimited on every plan, including the $9 Launch plan. Adding a teammate never changes your bill. Plans differ only by the usage they cover — monthly active users, bandwidth, and storage — because that is what actually costs us money to serve.

We do not offer a permanent free tier. However, you can start with a 30-day free trial on any plan. The Launch plan at $9/month is our most affordable option for personal projects and hobby apps.

Every plan includes the same protections. Your RSA-4096 signing key pair is generated on your local machine and the private half is never uploaded. Each deploy is signed with it and ships a SHA-256 hash of every file inside the bundle; your app verifies the signature and those hashes before installing anything, and refuses any update it cannot verify. Bundles carry web assets only — the updater rejects native executables by extension and by their leading bytes — and are downloaded over HTTPS from an allowlisted host. Bundles are not encrypted: a plain, signed archive is one an app store reviewer can download and read in full, which is exactly what a review of an OTA updater asks for.

You own all of your data, code, and bundles. We never claim any ownership or license over your intellectual property. When you upload a bundle, it remains your property. If you delete your account, all data is permanently removed within 30 days.

Our CLI and plugin are designed for straightforward migration: install the Capacitor or Electron plugin, run one deploy command, and your users start receiving updates through DeployYourApp on their next app launch.

To protect the service, API requests are rate limited — 100 requests per minute for general API calls and 60 update checks per minute per device, with stricter limits on auth and upload endpoints. Limits are the same on every plan.

Every plan includes email support, and it is the same support on every plan — you reach the people who build the product. We are a very small team, so we do not promise a response-time SLA we cannot guarantee; in practice we answer as quickly as we can.
